Concussion Policy
Concussions: A concussion is an injury to the brain that results in temporary loss of normal brain function. It usually is caused by a blow to the head. In many cases, there are no external signs of head trauma. Many people assume that concussions involve a loss of consciousness, but that is not true. In many cases, a person with a concussion never loses consciousness.

Severe Weather and Lightning Policy
According to the CDC, lightning strikes Earth more than 8 million times per day. NOAA reports that from 2004-2013, 33 people were killed and 234 injured due to lightning.The NOAA reports that on average, lightning strikes are fatal to about 10% of people who are struck, while the remain 90% survive but with long-term, often debilitating symptoms
